Volunteers Needed
St Leonard’s church cannot run the usual summer “open Church” this year due to Covid and many of our usual volunteers being at risk. Music recitals: we do hope to run a few Wednesday music recitals 11:00am – 12:30pm limited by social distancing, starting 28th July.
Also we plan to open the Church Transcepts for an art show for three days 10-12 August, 10:00am – 3:00pm. Volunteers are needed to supervise exhibits and welcome people.
ECO Vegetable Garden Scheme – with Vegetable Boxes
We are an eco congregation, as one of the five points of mission. This year we welcome a new start up initiative of an enlightened, eco friendly, bio dynamic farm project. This is open to anyone to join, simply as passive members or as volunteer work on Thursday mornings. The membership for the weekly vegetarian box scheme is a modest amount.
